EnSafe Welcomes Brownfields Expert Miles Ballogg

EnSafe is excited to announce the hiring of Miles Ballogg. A nationally recognized environmental justice and equitable development practitioner, Miles will be based in our Tampa, FL office and will lead EnSafe’s National Brownfields program that includes redevelopment and revitalization projects throughout the country. With more states and municipalities supporting and incentivizing Brownfields redevelopment, Miles’ addition to the EnSafe team will help us expand our efforts to transform blighted properties into community assets.

Ballogg has over three decades of success leading Brownfields projects and programs, particularly in the Southeast, through which he helped increase access to quality and affordable housing, healthcare, food, and safe community greenspaces. He has been instrumental in a variety of environmental efforts throughout Florida, securing substantial resources for the protection of Florida’s environment and the development and improvement of community infrastructures. His expertise was vital in collaboration with the Florida State Legislature on the Brownfields Redevelopment Act.

“Miles brings a passion and focus that will strengthen and consolidate our various Brownfields efforts across multiple states, USEPA Regions and regulatory voluntary/brownfields programs. We are excited to introduce him to our commercial and municipal client base to support their efforts in meaningful redevelopment of previously blighted properties and underserved communities,” says Daryl Hernandez, Vice President, Technical Services.
