Phil Coop, EnSafe Co-Founder
EnSafe, a leading provider of engineering, environmental, health & safety, and technology solutions, announced today that its Chairman and Co-Founder, Phil Coop, has been honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by Environmental Business Journal (EBJ). The award is part of EBJ's annual Business Achievement Awards, which celebrate the accomplishments and innovations of the environmental industry.
Coop, who has more than 45 years of experience in environmental consulting, co-founded EnSafe in 1980 with a vision of helping businesses navigate the complex and evolving environmental laws and regulations. He led EnSafe as President and CEO for 23 years and has been Chairman of the Board since 2013. He is also a past recipient of the Distinguished Leadership Award by EFCG and an inductee of the Society of Entrepreneurs in Memphis, Tennessee.
