EnSafe is excited to announce that Gilbert Roney, PG, has been named Business Lead for our Tampa office.

Gilbert grew up in South Florida and relocated to Tampa to attend the University of South Florida, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Geology. After completing his degree, he chose to remain in the Tampa Bay area and launched his professional career in the environmental field in 2018.

During his time with EnSafe, Gilbert has demonstrated strong leadership, built lasting client relationships, and worked closely with our teams to keep projects moving forward. As Business Lead, he’ll focus on growing our presence in the Tampa area, supporting the team, and continuing to provide the level of service our clients count on.

In discussing his transition into the Business Lead role, Gilbert highlighted the strength of the Tampa team and his commitment to developing the next generation of EnSafers:

“Under the leadership of Bridget Morello and through the team’s strong client-focused approach, the Tampa office has sustained a longstanding record of nationwide success in the remediation industry. With the continued expansion of EnSafe’s services in Tampa and across Florida, I could not have asked for a stronger foundation to build upon. I am especially excited about the opportunity to support the growth and professional development of our entry- and junior-level EnSafers.”

Gilbert’s experience, steady leadership, and strong relationships across the region make him a natural fit for this role. EnSafe Principal Bridget Morello, PE, shared her excitement about what this next chapter means for the Tampa office:

“Gilbert joined EnSafe in 2024 and quickly made an immediate impact. With eight years of experience and credentials as a Professional Geologist, he leads site assessment and remedial support services for the Tampa office while supporting projects nationwide.  Gilbert has been instrumental in numerous proposals/wins, successful project closeouts, and strengthening relationships with key clients.  His leadership and initiative have made a strong impact at EnSafe.”
