On September 21, Owens Corning (OC) hosted its 6th Annual Global Supplier Awards Event for its 10,000 global suppliers who provide more than $3.8 billion of goods and services to OC annually and recognized EnSafe with its Supplier Safety Award. This award is given to a company that is committed to and exemplifies the behaviors and actions needed to achieve a zero-injury workplace with OC.
“We have supported OC’s Global Occupational Hygiene and Safety Program for over 20 years, protecting workers worldwide. Owens Corning is a terrific client to work with and this is truly an honor,” stated Occupational Hygiene Program Manager, Bob Goodman, CIH, CSP.
During the two-day awards event in Toledo, Ohio, OC raised more than $530,000 for the Owens Corning Foundation, Inc., a charity focusing on providing safe, efficient housing; critical need shelter; and basic health and education to those in need.
