Safety and Health Services for Aerospace Company
EnSafe provided arc flash analysis, multiple-energy-source hazard assessments, and indoor air quality assessments at multiple locations for an aerospace manufacturer. EnSafe mobilized a Master Electrician / National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70E specialist and support staff to inspect power-generation equipment likely to require examination, adjustment, servicing, or maintenance while energized.
The information was used to determine the arc flash hazard boundaries, boundary protection, labeling requirements and personal protective equipment required for each piece of affected equipment per NFPA 70E National Electrical Code Section 110.16 requirements.
Work was performed in Alaska, Alabama, and California.
EnSafe determined whether hundreds of pieces of equipment were properly labeled and, if not, generated proper warning labels using a portable device. Our level of service merited a performance award from the client.
