Environmental, Health, and Safety Compliance Auditing for Manufacturer
EnSafe performed environmental, health, and safety (EH&S) compliance audits for a manufacturer at 13 U.S. facilities engaged in multiple lines of business.
EnSafe sent EH&S professionals to manufacturing plants in eight states to observe the facilities and processes; review the various EH&S-related written plans, records, and programs each facility maintained; and interview selected staff regarding EH&S issues. Thereafter, EnSafe prepared a summary report (one per facility) of findings and recommendations. Each report included a prioritized tabulation of EH&S action items.
EnSafe also prepared summaries of pollution prevention and sustainability initiatives undertaken at each facility included in the audit program.
By using only auditors with multidisciplinary skill sets (i.e., professionals with high levels of both environmental and health and safety expertise), EnSafe was able to address EH&S topics with a reduced level of staffing (typically one auditor per site). This interdisciplinary approach allowed EnSafe to maximize the efficiency of our onsite time and minimize both the project cost and facility disruption, while bringing a high level of subject matter expertise and integration to the project and associated deliverables.
Work was performed in Arizona, California, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Texas.
