Emergency Response and Time-Critical Removal Action
In just 14 months, EnSafe and its contractors categorized and disposed of more than 9 million pounds of hazardous waste and debris and treated more than 1 million gallons of contaminated waste and rainwater at a former hazardous waste incinerator and onsite landfill.
Further, EnSafe performed decontamination and demolition of the entire incinerator facility at the site, including recycling more than 7 million pounds of steel and performing environmental characterization of the site with no injuries or compliance issues.
EnSafe’s responsive, proactive approach to managing the site built instant credibility and trust with the Potentially Responsible Parties, regulators, and other stakeholders to ensure success.
EnSafe met all Administrative Order on Consent deliverables and schedules for emergency response. The documents/deliverables and approved with few to no comments from U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and state regulators.
