EnSafe Chief Financial Officer Mike Wood Named "CFO of the Year" by Memphis Business Journal
EnSafe's Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Mike Wood was named "CFO of the Year" by the Memphis Business Journal (MBJ). The winner was announced October 25th at an awards breakfast hosted by the MBJ.
This is the second year the MBJ has presented this award, which is designed to honor financial professionals in Memphis and the Mid-South for outstanding performance in their roles as corporate financial stewards. The candidates are nominated by their peers, and the MBJ staff selects finalists from the four categories—private company less than $50 million, private company more than $50 million, nonprofit company less than $50 million and nonprofit company more than $50 million. The winners are then selected by a panel of independent judges.
"We're very proud that Mike has been recognized for the great work he does for EnSafe," said CEO Phil Coop. "Managing financials for a company like ours isn't easy, but Mike does an outstanding job, and we are pleased he received this great honor."
