Scott Swan, EnSafe's GIS Services Manager, Among First to Recieve New ESRI Certification

ArcGIS Desktop Associate Certification Reflects Superior GIS Skills

EnSafe is proud to announce that Scott Swan, GIS Services Manager, has been awarded an ESRI Technical Certification recognizing superior skills with ESRI’s software for geographic information systems. ESRI is a software development and services company providing Geographic Information System (GIS) software and geodatabase management applications. As part of the certification, Scott was awarded the ArcGIS Desktop Associate Certification.

To earn this certification, candidates have to successfully pass an examination that assesses knowledge and skills cultivated through years of experience as a GIS professional. ESRI launched the Technical Certification program in December 2010 and, as a long-time ESRI Business Partner, Scott was eligible to participate in the beta-testing program to evaluate the certification exam. As a result, Scott passed the exam in September, months before it was publicly available, making him among the first-ever to earn this honor.

Scott is also a certified Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) and the only ESRI Authorized ArcGIS Instructor in his home state of Michigan.
