Brian Mulhearn named to the Technical Committee of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC)
 

Brian Mulhearn, EnSafe Inc. senior risk assessor/toxicologist, has been named to the Technical Committee of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC).  He will serve on the peer review subcommittee of the SETAC North America Technical Committee.

 

SETAC supports the development of principles and practices for protection, enhancement, and management of sustainable environmental quality and ecosystem integrity.  The international organization promotes the advancement and application of scientific research related to contaminants and other stressors in the environment, education in the environmental sciences, and the use of science in environmental policy and decision-making.

 

The SETAC North America Technical Committee provides guidance, direction, and assistance to the society in addressing technical issues with the objective of ensuring overall technical excellence of SETAC and its members.  

 

Mr. Mulhearn has 16 years' experience performing human health and ecological risk assessments at government and industrial sites across the U.S.
