EnSafe’s Mike Palmer to be Keynote Speaker at BAE Systems Conference

Mike Palmer, EnSafe’s Vice President of Health & Safety will be a keynote speaker at BAE System’s global Safety, Health and Environment Conference Wednesday, November 7, 2018. He’ll be addressing the “WHY and HOW of OSHA VPP STAR Certification and STAR Teams.”

Mike has more than 35 years of experience providing technical consultation in the areas of safety management systems, employee engagement, industrial safety, construction safety, process safety management, industrial hygiene, and training. He is a long time member and past Chair of the American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) Confined Spaces Committee and currently represents the AIHA on the NFPA 350 Confined Spaces Standard Committee.  He has experience serving the chemical, manufacturing, utilities, defense, and pharmaceutical industries in the U.S. and International. In addition, Mike has served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Tennessee MPH & MS programs since 1989, routinely provides consultation as an expert witness regarding occupational health and safety cases, and has been published in several professional safety and health journals and periodicals.
