EnSafe Street Hawks Finish in Top 5 in Ride to Stop Diabetes

On the hottest day of the year to date, Saturday, June 11, 2016, Knoxville EnSafers Greg Morris and Lance Greene rode a combined total of 88.7 miles for the 25th Annual Tour de Cure, the American Diabetes Association's (ADA's) signature fundraising cycling event.

Greg and Lance raised $663 dollars for ADA's mission. They committed to ride and raise money not just because 29 million people in the U.S. have diabetes, but because they personally know some of them and wanted to do something about it.

Greg pulled a 66-mile shift and Lance cruised the uphill 22.7-mile leg of the course. Their team, the EnSafe Street Hawks, finished in the Top 5.

Congratulations, Greg and Lance, for doing your part to Stop Diabetes!

Want to join them next time? They ride after work occasionally and welcome participation.
